Molly Wangsgaard is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist who specializes in weight management, cardiovascular health and wellness.
Ms. Wangsgaard received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Kansas State University in Human Nutrition and Kinesiology; a Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech; and completed her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In addition to being a dietitian, Molly is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and trained in wellness coaching and motivational interviewing.
Molly worked as a clinical dietitian at two prestigious institutions: Vanderbilt University Hospital and Cooper Clinic. In between those clinical settings, Molly worked in the corporate world at the home office of Jenny Craig as a Program Development Manager, then as Director of Nutrition at Curves Jenny Craig. In addition to helping clients at Genetix reach their weight and wellness goals, Ms. Wangsgaard is a Wellness Coach in a corporate health center, coaching clients in private practice, and teaching as an adjunct professor at a Dallas area community college.
In her free time, Ms. Wangsgaard enjoys spending time with her husband, young twins and extended family. She also finds time for regular exercise, activities with her church and watching college football.
